I ordered the Wash & Wear Slip-on in Size
6M for light walking and find it very well suited to the
task (taking the pooch out, strolling in the park, etc.).
Serious walkers will need A shoe with more engineering. It's
A cute shoe; mine is in Denim Blue, and I've received
compliments on it. My only complaint is that the shoe is too
wide in the heel for me; otherwise I'd consider buying it in
other colors. I plan to put in an additional inner sole to
try to tighten it up.
I take a 9 1/2 D, but whenever I order this particular
model, I always order the Medium because the shoe is pretty
wide. It accommodates my orthotic and lets me have a nice
looking shoes that does not require laces. Before this I
always had to order laces to keep my inserts in place. I
have four pairs. They become a little wider as you wear them
because they are leather. The wider version was really wide.
Other Propet styles may not be the same.
I have heel spurs and flat arches these are the only shoes I
wear. I teach school and work out twice a week, if it was
not for these shoes my feet would be killing me. Before I
started wearing Dr Scholls I could hardly walk from the
pain, now there is no problem. I recommend them all the time
when people say their feet hurt. The only draw back they are
too stylish with skirts or dresses.
Since I wear orthotics that include A small heel lift, I
have A hard time finding decent looking, comfortable shoes.
I especially like that these shoes are slip-ons. I bought a
second pair recently because Propet has the unsettling
policy of discontinuing my favorite styles right about the
time I need to replace them. I didn't believe these shoes
could survive the washing machine, but they came out intact
and seem likely to last A long time.
